Amber Corrieri Named Chief Operating Officer

Mainstream Living has announced Amber Corrieri  as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Corrieri has been with the organization for 12 years, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and community leadership. She will succeed Kris Eastman who has been appointed President and CEO effective November 1, 2023. "I am delighted to have Amber as the COO as I assume my new role as President and CEO," said Eastman. "I am confident that she will contribute exceptional leadership and creativity to her position, which will propel Mainstream Living towards progress and improvement." 

Corrieri started her career with Mainstream Living as the Director of Development, eventually moving into the role of Director of Corporate Compliance and Communications. Prior to her work with Mainstream Living, she spent 10 years in the financial industry. Corrieri also has a wealth of experience in public policy and nonprofit administration. She is currently in her third term as an at-large member of the Ames City Council and has served on numerous boards and commissions. Corrieri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Simpson College. 

As COO, Corrieri will assume responsibilities for oversight of all internal and administrative operations including human resources and property management.  She will serve as a member of the Executive Management Team which works to lead the strategic vision of the organization.  “Since my first days with Mainstream Living, I have known that this was the place where I wanted to build a career. I am grateful for all of the opportunities I have had over the last 12 years and look forward to taking on new challenges. Mainstream Living has an exceptional leadership team and I am excited to play a larger role in moving the organization forward,” said Corrieri.
