Tracy May

Director

Tracy is the Manager of Risk Monitoring at John Deere Financial (JDF) in Johnston, Iowa. She has been employed with JDF for 22 years and held roles in Accounting, Pricing, Marketing, Data & Analytics and Underwriting. She also serves on the global steering committee and local chapter for the ABLEd  (Advocacy Benefiting Leadership & Employees touched by disabilities) Employee Resource Group at John Deere. The mission of ERG is to create a network that supports individuals touched by disabilities by advocating for and providing resources to stakeholders. She has been married to husband Clint for 26 years and is mom to two boys – Jack (20) and Nathan (18). Her boys were both born extremely premature and spent a combined 9 ½ months in the NICU. Her family continues to navigate the challenges that often accompany a premature birth as son Jack is visually impaired and intellectually disabled. She spends her time outside of work coaching and mentoring other preemie moms, helping them process stress so that they can begin to embrace their new normal. Tracy served as an ambassador and public speaker for the March of Dimes March for Babies walk and served on their Board of Directors for ten years. She was also one of the founding members of the non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of special needs children and their families in the Waukee area. The non-profit was instrumental in providing adaptive swings for playgrounds at Waukee elementary schools as well as iPads for use in special education classrooms. In her spare time, Tracy loves reading, knitting, scrapbooking, traveling, and girl’s trips.”
